Long time no update...

First off I do apologize for not updating in, well, a month... I have had time to update it, just not always good opportunity to do so. I've had the best intentions, but the Internet provider here goes down quite often, and well, takes a lot of patience.. For instance, I sent two 500k pictures to Sarah via email the other day.... it took over an hour to send. So forgive me for my lack of patience with the Internet service here. The way I see it, I'm at least lucky that I have connectivity in this location.

So, anyways. I've been trying to keep myself pretty busy. I've been to the Bazaar that they offer here on KAF (Kandahar Airfield) twice now, this last time picking up an order for Sarah (she's gonna love it, i'm sure of it). I've also picked up a few small rugs and two sheet-type things... I'll post pictures, but once again, it's that whole 1 hr to upload 2 photographs... it makes it difficult, not to mention the fact that the ISP tends to drop out every once in a while...

So I'll try to get photos published when i can....

We've (Sarah and I) gotten our trips booked, we'll be in the states in July for about two weeks with a trip to Huntsville, AL, Seattle, WA,. and then a quick jaunt back to Texas. Some people are not too happy with the fact that the trip is so short, but hey, ya know Sarah and I are flying thousands of miles to spend time with everyone (everyone, not just one or two sets of folks) so we have to split our time between everybody and then try to take some time for ourselves...

Also, another update.... I'm no longer the "New Guy" seeing as we just received a new Sys Admin yesterday...
